About the Cascade Lakes Race Group

There are many relays to choose from, but Cascade Relays are different. We are a small, family-run business with the mission to provide exceptional race experiences, while supporting the communities we run through. We prioritize rural courses, local vendors & businesses, personal relationships and supporting local non-profits. You’ll get to know your Race Directors – Scott & Carrie Douglass – through communication throughout the year and out on the race course. You’ll get a friendly check-in from Carrie and a starter’s high-five from Scott every time. Our staff and volunteers embody the spirit of our company – safety, fun and competition. Join the Cascade Relays family!

Scott and Carrie Douglass
Race Directors

Our friends think we’re crazy for producing these events as an extra hobby on top of our full-time jobs, but we love talking with our participants throughout the year and seeing you each summer along the course! Thank you for bringing us so much joy – your energy and enthusiasm keeps us going throughout the year on this crazy venture!

Kate Kranzush
Walk Race Director

I hope to provide a great experience for our walkers so that our walk division grows over the years. As an avid world traveler, I enjoy walking and trekking wherever I go. Whenever I go somewhere new, I find the best way to get to know the area and the people is to just get out there and walk around. I also think that walking the CLR and S2S courses gives participants the best chance to really take in the beauty of the areas.

We took some of our core staff to Kentucky last fall to run the Bourbon Chase Relay and had an amazing time.

Check out our video – yep, we have just as much fun running relays and creating videos as you do.
