Become a charity Partner

We are proud to support dozens of local charities and non-profit ogranizations in our local Central Oregon Communities. Don’t miss out on the 2024 Official Charity Application!

About the Charity Partner Program

Being a Cascade Relays Foundation Charity Partner provides a fun and easy opportunity to raise significant funds for your organization! As a Charity Partner, your organization plays a critical role in the Cascade Relays Foundation’s “Hire A Volunteer” program.  For all Cascade Relays events, each team is required to either provide their own volunteers or “hire” a charity partner volunteer.

As a Charity Partner, your organization finds supporters to volunteer at the event on behalf of your charity/community group for those teams that opt to “hire” volunteers.  Each volunteer that you provide will generate funds for your respective organization. At the end of the race season, the Foundation hosts a reception (traditionally held in October) where each Charity Partner receives a grant from the Foundation.  Grant amounts are based on the total number of volunteer hours assigned/reported by each organization.

Application Information

Register to apply to become an official Charity Partner by clicking on the link below. You will be asked which events your organization would like to participate in and how many volunteers you anticipate being able to provide on event day.  We accept organizations providing as few as 5 volunteers to as many as 100! There are no guarantees that all volunteers from your organization will be needed. Volunteer Assignments are finalized one month prior to Cascade Lakes Relay and at least two weeks prior to Bend Beer Chase

Additionally, there are many other opportunities for your organization to fundraise during the race (example, selling snacks along the course). Please indicate your fundraising ideas in your application and we will contact you to discuss opportunities and how we can support your organization.

Without our amazing volunteers and their time, spirit, and enthusiasm this incredible community event could not take place. We thank you in advance!
